2. Files You Process
All PDF processing on this website happens entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers, never stored, and never transmitted over the internet. We have no technical ability to access the documents you work with.
3. Information We Collect
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as page views, tool usage frequency, browser type, and country-level location data via analytics services. This data cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal information unless you contact us directly.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies necessary for the site to function and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site. Advertising cookies may be set by third-party ad networks. 5. Advertising
We display advertisements via Google AdSense to support the free service. Ad networks may use cookies and tracking technologies to serve relevant ads. These are governed by the ad network's privacy policy. We do not share personal data with advertisers. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure no personalized advertising occurs without your explicit consent.
6. Third-Party Services

7. Data Retention
Since we do not collect personal data or store your files, there is no personal data to retain or delete. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form only.
8. Children's Privacy
This service is not directed to children under 13. Users must be at least 13 years old to use this service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used this service or that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at contact@cloudpdfapp.com and we will take prompt action.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, LGPD, DPDPA, APPI, or other privacy laws. 10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information.
We do not sell personal information.
Cloud PDF App does not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA.
California residents have the following rights:
- Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our business purpose for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. You will receive the same quality of service regardless of whether you opt out.

11. GDPR — European Union / EEA / UK
If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR provide you with additional rights. Our legal basis for any minimal processing (analytics) is legitimate interests. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure no personalized advertising or tracking occurs without explicit consent. 12. PIPEDA — Canada
If you are located in Canada, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) applies. Cloud PDF App adheres to PIPEDA's ten fair information principles:

- Identifying Purposes: We identify the purposes for collecting information before or at time of collection — analytics and service improvement only.
- Consent: We obtain meaningful consent. Cookie consent is obtained before non-essential cookies are set.

- Limiting Use, Disclosure, Retention: We do not use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those for which it was collected.

13. LGPD — Brazil
If you are located in Brazil, the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD — Law No. 13.709/2018) applies.
Legal basis for processing: Where minimal personal data is processed (e.g., analytics), our legal basis is legitimate interests (Article 7, VI, LGPD) — specifically, understanding aggregate usage patterns to improve our free service. For advertising, our legal basis is consent (Article 7, I, LGPD), which we obtain via our cookie consent mechanism.
Brazilian data principals have the right to:

14. DPDPA — India
If you are located in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA) applies. As a data fiduciary in relation to any minimal personal data we process:

- Nominate another individual to exercise rights in case of death or incapacity

15. APPI — Japan
If you are located in Japan, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) applies.
